Exmoor Dark Skies Reserve great for the Auroa Borealis

What better way to see the Aurora Borealis (Northan lights) than from Exmoor's Dark Skies Reserve.

In 2011 Exmoor became the 1st park to be awarded the International Dark Skies Reserve Status; there are only 19 in the whole world!

Dark skies matter and we are so lucky to have our dark skies accreditation from Exmoor Dark Skies Reserve.  Around 80% of UK residents live under light polluted skies which has been attributed to affecting human health and sense of wellbeing as well as deterring wildlife.

Being able to glimpse the Milky Way, see distant galaxies, star clusters and even the Aurora Borealis (when condition are right) is a wonderful addition to your holiday.
